Atlanta rapper Jeezy is currently facing allegations of abuse from his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai. However, his ex-fiancée and nanny have stepped forward to defend him, describing him as a devoted father who has never exhibited abusive behavior towards his children or them.
Mahlet Gebremedhin, Jeezy’s ex-fiancée and the mother of his older daughter, Amra, has filed an affidavit stating that she has witnessed Jeezy being a caring and present father to both Amra and his oldest child, Jadarius. She emphasized that at no point has Jeezy ever displayed physical, mental, or emotional abuse towards his children or herself.
Similarly, Jeezy’s nanny, Minhee Hoffler, also submitted an affidavit describing Jeezy as a hardworking person who provides his daughters with the support they need as they grow. Hoffler noted that Jeezy is a devoted father and is dedicated to his children’s well-being.
Other friends and acquaintances, including Robyn Wallace and Shelley Nichols, have also come forward to support Jeezy. Wallace described Jeezy as a kind and caring person, while Nichols pointed out that Jeezy is a hardworking individual dedicated to his family.
On the other hand, Jeannie Mai continues to claim that Jeezy abused her during their marriage. Her representative has stated that Jeezy is attempting to distort the truth by having people file false statements and claims against Mai, thereby trying to contradict real-time evidence and factual events.
The situation remains ongoing, with Jeezy submitting WhatsApp conversations between himself and Mai as evidence. In these conversations, Mai shares screenshots of her ovulation calendar from the Flo app, which tracks menstrual and ovulation cycles. Jeezy claims that Mai was trying to have a second baby with him and began accusing him of abuse when he rebuffed her advances.
Mai initially filed a motion in court alleging that Jeezy subjected her to physical abuse and their child to neglect during an event in December 2022. The case is ongoing, with both sides presenting their evidence and claims.
