Rappers Latto and GloRilla recently faced off in a lively and playful dance battle backstage, with Megan Thee Stallion cheering them on.
Latto, known for her hit “Big Energy,” initially declared herself the winner, claiming a 4-2 victory after twerking and dancing on GloRilla. However, GloRilla contested the outcome. She tweeted that Latto had cheated by repeating a twerk move and argued that Latto’s heels gave her an unfair advantage. GloRilla even accused Latto of “kissing ass,” noting that she would have been eliminated if she had started twerking.
Megan Thee Stallion weighed in on the friendly dispute, suggesting the two should have a rematch. Latto responded with a joke, saying that Megan was just protecting GloRilla’s feelings and calling her a “real friend.”
Despite the competition, the rappers are also collaborating on new music. Latto and Megan Thee Stallion are set to release a remix of Latto’s “Sunday Service” on June 21. Additionally, GloRilla recently teamed up with Tina Snow and Cardi B on a remix of “Wanna Be.”
