A rare vinyl copy of Kanye West’s album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is now up for auction, featuring a unique message reflective of West’s ongoing feud with Adidas. Signed by West himself, the vinyl bears the autographs “FUCK ADIDAS” and “YE” on the front. The item is expected to fetch a substantial sum of $500,000.

The vinyl was signed during a trip to Paris in February, where West was approached by fans chanting “Fuck Adidas.” Wearing a mask at the time, West appeared to endorse the message when asked to sign a vinyl copy of his 2010 album. He inscribed the record with the provocative message, seemingly supporting the crowd’s sentiments.

This auction comes amid West’s intense campaign against Adidas, which terminated their lucrative Yeezy partnership in October 2022 following the rapper’s antisemitic remarks. West has been highly critical of Adidas for selling new versions of the 350 shoes without his approval and for allegedly withholding payments due to him for shoes bearing his name.

In an Instagram post, West wrote, “Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys. I never made these colorways; I’m not getting paid off of them and Adidas is suing me.” He also expressed frustration over the lack of support from celebrities and the public in the face of what he perceives as Adidas’ exploitation.

In a separate video, West elaborated on his issues with Adidas, accusing them of selling unauthorized colorways, suing him for $250 million, and withholding payments. He claimed that Adidas is using contract clauses and business acumen to “rape an artist in broad daylight.”

The auction is being conducted by Moment in Time, and the highest bidder will take home this rare and highly sought-after vinyl copy of West’s iconic album.
