Layzie Bone has rejoined Bone Thugs-N-Harmony onstage after a week of public tension surrounding his absence from the group’s Wu-Tang Clan tour dates.
The dispute began after Layzie said he expected to be part of the run but was left out after communication within the group broke down. He said he had prepared to tour and felt blindsided when plans changed.
Krayzie Bone later responded publicly, saying the group had asked Layzie to enter rehab and that Bone was prepared to continue paying him while he received treatment. Krayzie did not identify a substance or disclose a specific diagnosis, and his comments framed the issue as a condition for Layzie’s return rather than a permanent split.
Bizzy Bone, who has also been absent from the Wu-Tang dates, addressed fans separately and pushed back on people rooting for individual Bone members to fail. His comments were not presented as part of the same dispute.
Layzie’s return to the stage now suggests the immediate standoff has cooled, even if the group’s internal issues are not fully resolved. The episode also renewed a familiar discussion around Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s rotating live lineup and fans’ desire to see the full group together.
