Gucci Mane, a veteran in the rap industry, recently appeared on the Big Facts podcast where he discussed his past apologies to fellow artists Drake and Young Thug. In 2013, Guwop publicly criticized Drake on Twitter, but later apologized for his actions. Drake accepted the apology and the two collaborated on music after Gucci’s release from prison in 2016.
During the podcast, Gucci shared, “I said some bullsh– about Drake, text him some crazy. But I was going through an episode, so I kind of had to hit him back and be like, ‘I’m sorry about that. I was going through something.’” He expressed gratitude for Drake’s understanding and forgiveness.
Reflecting on Young Thug’s remarks about him, Gucci emphasized the importance of forgiveness and acceptance. Despite the initial tension, Gucci accepted Young Thug’s apology, citing his own experiences and desire for forgiveness in the past.
Although Gucci hasn’t seen Young Thug since the incident, he remains hopeful that their relationship will be mended. Gucci Mane recently released his Episodes album in celebration of 10/17 Day, along with the launch of his Episodes book earlier this week.
