After taking time to cope with a personal loss in April, Westside Gunn has re-emerged to give his followers a glimpse into his life and upcoming projects.
In a recent Instagram post, Gunn shared a photo and addressed his fans directly, expressing gratitude for their support during his time away. He stated, “Wellness check!!!! And just know I LOVE YALL.”
Gunn has been working on a new album, which he has now completed. He shared that he’s feeling better than ever, both physically and mentally, and remains committed to his art and role as a father.
In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, Gunn revealed that he was moving away from traditional studio albums, opting instead for shorter, more experimental projects. He expressed his desire to have fun with his music and explore new sounds without the pressure of creating a full-length album.
Gunn’s latest album, And Then You Pray For Me, was released in October 2023.
