Music mogul Diddy is currently facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering in New York. President Donald Trump recently discussed the possibility of pardoning Diddy during an Oval Office briefing. When asked about the situation, Trump stated that he would “look at the facts” of the case and that his past relationship with Diddy would not influence his decision.

Trump acknowledged that although no formal requests had been made, the idea of pardoning Diddy was circulating. He mentioned that he had not been closely following the trial but would assess the situation if necessary.

Despite having been friends in the past, Trump revealed that he had not spoken to Diddy in years. He attributed the strained relationship to his entry into politics, stating that the friendship had deteriorated since then.

Diddy’s trial is anticipated to continue until July, with the possibility of a life sentence if found guilty on all counts. Trump’s consideration of pardoning Diddy comes after recent actions, including pardoning YoungBoy Never Broke Again and commuting the sentence of former gang leader Larry Hoover.

While YoungBoy’s federal cases have been resolved, Hoover still faces legal issues in Illinois related to a 200-year sentence for a murder conviction dating back to 1973.
