Pharrell Williams seems to have joined the growing list of artists taking shots at Drake with his latest single, “Double Life,” which is speculated to be referencing the rapper. The track will feature on the soundtrack for the upcoming animated film Despicable Me 4, scheduled for release on July 3.

“Lie detector time / Hey, what are you hiding? / Nothing wrong being private / Make sure it ain’t wrong.”

Fans quickly took to social media to interpret the bars, with some believing they are aimed at Drake. However, not everyone is convinced that the lyrics are about Drake. Some fans have suggested the lines are actually about the character Gru. Others have criticized Pharrell for trying to stay relevant by taking shots at another artist.

Pharrell’s new single is part of a larger project. He is also working on a Lego-themed biopic called Piece By Piece, set to be released later this year. The film’s trailer, unveiled earlier this month, features Pharrell speaking with director Morgan Neville about his life and career. The movie includes cameos from several notable figures in the music industry, including Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, and Gwen Stefani.
