Overseas hype just passed across my desk; “BRUCE WAYNE’S BASTARD SON,” representing Zürich, Switzerland, is a 25-years-old artist that has been writing for years, but just started dropping his music. His first release, “Facts 1,” is an intro to what he has coming up — and a salute to Prodigy of Mobb Deep, who the game lost earlier this year. His debut album PHANTOM and a clothing line are all on deck for later this year and into 2018.
In anticipation, he sat with AAHH to chat about himself, his music, and what he has coming up.
Tell me about your music.
My music is different. My raps are different. The whole thing is different. My sound is like John Woo/Christopher Nolan films if you close your eyes and just imagine them.
How did you get into the game?
I’ve been involved with music ever since I was 14-years-old. I got into the whole hip-hop scene because of my family — and the environment where I was at that time. Let’s just say music was with me from the start.
Who are your influences?
One of the main influences that got me started was probably the whole Dipset (Cam’ron Juelz Santana, Jim Jones) and G-Unit wave; that [really] got me motivated. But, I’ve been listening to everything, so actually, It’s the whole culture that inspired me–from girls and money to the overall lifestyle.
What do you have floating out there right now?
My first release is called FACTS 1, which uses Mobb Deep’s “Throw Your Hands, produced by Kanye West. I decided to use that beat because I want to show people that no matter how the game is changing we still got to give respect and props to the Gods!
What’s coming up next?
Currently, I am working on a free album called PHANTOM, dropping this December. It will be a ten track album no remixes, no features, just me. I think the album will speak for itself when you hear it.
I’ve been working on it for four months now, and It’s really dope! Everything Is finished with the music part also with promotion and marketing stuff. So I’ll just take my time making sure everything is perfect.
What’s been your biggest achievement thus far? What are your career goals?
My most significant achievement so far? I got a track with one famous cat from NYC; He is the dopest, the one with the most luxurious rhymes in the game. The track is already recorded, but I am saving It for next year! I’ll keep It a surprise ‘till January/ February. My goals In this music Industry are simple: I just wanna do my own thing, make my sound, stay in my lane, make great music
and make money.
What does the future hold for you?
I just started releasing what I got, but I am also working on a clothing line that’s under my independent company “SECT 55.” Shout out to my brother FORYOUIAMLUKE; he is the shooter with the Nikon/Canon lenses. He is also the guy that is keeping my Instagram dope, and fresh with all the content we make together. But yeah, my designs are the next thing that I wanna do and also one of the biggest things is direct a really good movie…but that comes later.
