An attorney representing alleged victims of Sean “P Diddy” Combs has claimed that a sex tape featuring the music mogul and another celebrity has been “leaked” in Hollywood circles. This revelation comes on the heels of a separate announcement by prominent attorney Tony Buzbee, who says he’s representing 120 individuals alleging sexual misconduct by Combs.
Ariel Mitchell-Kidd told News Nation she was contacted about “the sale of one of the Diddy tapes” but declined to obtain it. She said she saw “stills” from the video, which allegedly features Combs and someone “more high profile” than him.
“I can verify that it exists, that it’s real, and that the other person in the video is very visible,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “There is no question of if it’s that person in the video.”
The lawyer added, “It didn’t seem like they were an active participant in the videotaping. It seemed like they were being surreptitiously recorded.”
Mitchell-Kidd also shared details of an alleged 2018 assault on one of her clients. She claims the incident was reported to police at the time.
Combs was arrested on Sept. 16 in New York City. He faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper and producer denies all allegations and is awaiting trial.
Buzbee, a Houston-based lawyer, stated that lawsuits are expected to be filed within a month, primarily in New York and Los Angeles. The accusers reportedly include an equal number of males and females, with approximately 20% being minors at the time of the alleged incidents. The accusations span over three decades, from the early 1990s to the present year.
Combs’ legal team reports that he is “focused and very strong” as he prepares his defense, categorically denying any claims of sexual abuse, particularly involving minors.
As these legal situations unfold, it’s important to note that these remain allegations, and the judicial process will determine their validity.
