Amid his ongoing sex trafficking trial, Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, faces new allegations of continuing to host group activities known as “freak-offs” even after Homeland Security raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes in March 2024. An anonymous witness, identified as Jane, testified that she participated in these events with male sex workers in May, July, and August of the same year.

Jane also claimed to have been in a relationship with the music mogul until his arrest for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking in September 2024. Diddy and his legal team have been pushing for a mistrial, accusing the prosecution of presenting false evidence to the court.

Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro argued that the government knew or should have known that the testimony regarding an alleged incident involving Diddy and Bryana Bongolan was false. The defense cited records of Diddy’s stay at Trump Hotel in New York in 2016 to refute the claims made against him.

Judge Arun Subramanian is expected to rule on the mistrial motion on Tuesday. This marks Diddy’s third attempt to secure a mistrial, following unsuccessful attempts to obtain bail in the fall of 2024.
