Detroit rapper Boldy James and producer Harry Fraud have announced a new collaborative album, The Bricktionary, set for release this summer. The project’s first single, “Cecil Fielder,” featuring fellow Detroit native Tee Grizzley, is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

While fans express excitement for the upcoming project, many are still eagerly anticipating James’ Drug Dilla, an album first announced years ago. The project is set to feature unreleased beats from the late Detroit producer J Dilla.

James has been prolific in recent years, releasing a string of collaborative projects. These include Killing Nothing with Real Bad Man, Fair Exchange No Robbery and Penalty of Leadership with Nicholas Craven, Mr. Ten08 with Futurewave, Be That as It May with Cuns, Indiana Jones with RichGains, and Across The Tracks with Conductor Williams.

Details on The Bricktionary are scarce, but the release of “Cecil Fielder” marks the official confirmation of the long-rumored collaboration between James and Fraud.
